First things first, I am once again a member of GDNet+, supporting the excellent work of Michael Tanczos in keeping the site fresh and functional.
Revel Immortal
Version 0.14 was released on friday; http://edigames.com/revelimmortal and marks our first release entirely backed by the Revel Editor --this is pretty exciting for us given that it was only a 63 hour investment to move from hard-coded data to a custom IDE.
How do I know it took 63 hours? I keep a personal work log, and after doing so for a year; I highly recommend it. Without one I cant remember what happened one week to the next.
It's just a simple google doc with a row for each day, a simple description of work performed and the hours worked.
Going back and looking over it is a great help in seeing what aspects of the project slowed productivity, and what went fast.
New members
Thanks to recruiting on the site, we've managed to pick up several new members on the revel team, in art, musical composition and sound production.
Going forward
Now that we're in good shape with the editor, it's gung ho again on creation of content. We have a tentative goal of being in beta by April 2014 and that means a lot of content to be made.
