Anyway, Gaiiden has inquired if I would be willing to write an article or two on art, particularly pixel art, but I don't see why I couldn't add one on technical illustration in Photoshop.
I'm actually posting this entry to see what people want to know how to do, like looking at what I've drawn, what strikes you as the most interesting, or what you don't understand how to do(but want to)?
You can look through this journal, watch those videos from last entry, or look in my deviantART Photoshop and MS Paint galleries. Basically, I'm trying to answer all questions on my art, because those are the ones I can answer confidently, and explain in detail.
So... what do guys want to know?
I would think that the most desired information that somebody would want to know about pixel-art is regrading shading. Or giving a "Box" the unique feeling that it is a 'wooden-box'. How do you mix your pixels so that it looks like a realistic surface? Are there any TOOLS that you use to help you get the look that you want? Or is it just the 1x1 pixel pen? That sort of stuff.
And remember. Don't assume we know anything. Start basic, and progress evenly. Or if you write something advanced, show something that you'd expect the reader to understand or would be able to do.
